Scholarships

Scholarship for the students is available on the following basis. However conditions are applied in few situations. Some community trust also offer scholarship to the student of their own community. Time to time update regarding scholarship will be notified to the students.

  • Scholarship from Government for SC/ST students whose family income is below Rs. 2, 50,000 per annum. Students can apply every year.
  • SC/ST students are offered fee concession whose family income is below Rs. 2, 50,000 per annum (Sanctioned by Director of Technical Education, Bangalore)
  • M/s. Jindal Trust Scholarship, Sitaram Jindal Foundation, Jindal Nagar, Tumkur Road, Bangalore
  • District Backward Class and Minorities Department have the scheme to refund the fees paid by the students (other than SC/ST) whose family income is Rs. 1, 00,000 per annum and less. Students can apply for the same in the month of August.
  • Directorate of Collegiate Education Department offer Merit Scholarship.
  • Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Department offer scholarship to the children of Ex-Servicemen.
  • Women and Children Welfare Department sanction scholarship to physically handicapped students.
  • On the basis of GOI quota, Governments of Andaman Nicobar/North Eastern Council Secretarial, Shillong/Andhra Pradesh/Arunchal Pradesh/Nagaland provide Scholarship.
  • Scholarship from Postal Department and NTPC Scholarship.
  • Scholarships from Karnataka State Board of Wakfs.
  • Children of Defence Personnel apply in the month of December for the scholarship sanctioned by Department of Collegiate Education, Bangalore.
  • Lingayat Community students are offered scholarship by Navalgund Sirsangi Trust.
  • Brahmins Community students are offered scholarship by GSB Scholarships Mumbai/Saraswathi Krishna Kamath Charities.
  • Scholarship from Vidhya Poshaka Sangha and Dempo Charities Trust GAO.
  • Shikshan Sadan, Bangalore offer scholarship.
  • Students can apply for any scholarship by attaching requirement documents like caste certificate, income certificate and marks cards.
  • Legal action will be taken against the students who produce false certificates.

CIRCULAR

Sub: Sanction of scholarships and fee concession for SC Students of UG and PG for the year 2020-2021 reg.

Applications are invited from the eligible SC students studying in UG, PG and Ph.D (full time) whose parental annual income is below Rs.2,50,000/- in the college for the academic year 2020-2021 for the sanction of fee concession to those who are admitted through CET quota. Those who are not registered earlier, should get registered from Taluk Social Welfare Office, Yelahanka, Bangalore and mention the regeristered number in the application form.

Procedure for online submission of application for SC students
  • Application format is available in the website www.sw.kar.nic.in
  • Eligible students should submit the details in above mentioned website.
  • Fresh and Renewal students do their registration on or before 20.09.2018.
Documents required to be submitted:
  • All marks cards from 10th, 12th standard and till present year.
  • Copy of Income certificate (for the year 2020-2021), and Caste certificate.
  • Copy of Bank passbook (page having Name, Account number, MICR code, IFSC).
  • In case parents are working in Government office, latest salary certificate should be provided.
  • Aadhar card copy.

Submit the printout of the form downloaded by web portal along with above mentioned documents to the scholarship cell, OXBRIDGE GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS within the last date.

CIRCULAR

Sub: Online Submission of application for Accommodation and Food / Post Metric Scholarship belongs to CAT-1 and OBC Students for the year 2018-19.

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates studying in UG and PG course in Oxbridge Group of Institutions for the year 2018-19 for accommodation and food. Also for Post Metric Scholarship to the students of backward class, 2A, 3A and 3B (other than SC and ST) whose parental income is below Rs.1,00,000 per annum and students belonging to Cat-1, whose parental income is below Rs.2,50,000 per annum.

Eligibility
  • Candidates should be citizen of India and permanent resident of Karnataka.
  • Category of the student should be included in the Backward Classes Gazette by State Government.
  • Students studying in UG and PG programs and belonging to Cat-1, OBC (2A, 3A and 3B) are eligible.
  • For students belonging under OBC whose parental income is Rs.1,00,000 per annum and Cat-1 whose parental income is Rs.2,50,000 per annum are eligible.
Procedure for online submission of application:
  • Students who are eligible should submit their application through online by furnishing the details in the website “www.karepass.cgg.gov.in”
  • Students must have all scanned copies of the following documents in jpg format of 100kb before applying: a. PGCET / CET admission allotment order. b. Caste and Income certificate. c. Nationalized Bank Pass book, first page Xerox copy having details of Account number, name, IFSC number etc. d. Ration card or Aadhar card copy.
  • Documents along with the application should be uploaded.
  • Submission of printout of the application along with documents and submit to section, Oxbridge Group of Institution with the last date.
